Jennifer (Rose) Raish is a visual artist who has focused for the past decade on textile arts. In 2016, she began quilting. Her previous textile arts experience includes fashion sewing, crochet, and fabric sculpture. As a quilter, she has gravitated to the freedom of the modern improv style. She is committed to durable, traditional construction techniques and sustainable workplace practices. She enjoys salvaging and repurposing old materials, mending what's worn out, living, sourcing, and wasting minimally.

She received a BA from Dickinson College where she concentrated in studio art and art history, and has also completed coursework at Glasgow School of Art and Parsons New School for Design. She recently moved from Brooklyn, New York to Fehmarn, Germany - a small island in the Baltic Sea.
